The Role: As an HGV Technician, you will support the daily operations within the workshops, ensuring that repairs and maintenance activities meet the highest standards. Responsibilities: Conduct repairs and maintenance on Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) and Plant equipment, both on-site at the workshops and off-site for breakdowns. Contribute to the safe, efficient, and effective operation of all vehicles. Participate in training sessions based on the standards established by the management. Adhere to the company's safety regulations, policies, and safe working practices. Maintain effective communication with staff and management daily. Requirements: Previously worked as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or in a similar role. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent certified commercial vehicle technician. Exceptional knowledge of mechanical engineering and fault diagnosis. Welding experience. (Beneficial) HGV licence. (Beneficial) Valid driving licence.
