HGV Technician   My Client in (Newcastle) Depot is looking for qualified HGV Level 3 Technicians (C&G, NVQ, or equivalent) to complement our current staff in our Service & Workshop teams. Working on HGV, LCV, vans, and trailers, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with the manufacturer's procedures. In this role, you will work closely with a team of technicians in order to complete work efficiently, on time, and to the highest possible standard.    Main tasks/Responsibilities ·Ensure repairs are carried out to the manufacturer's procedures in a safe and responsible manner. ·Ability to undertake fast and accurate fault diagnosis using diagnostic equipment. ·Vehicle maintenance and servicing ·Complete safety checks and prepare vehicles for MOTs. ·High levels of customer service ·Able to participate in breakdowns. ·Follow company processes for completing paperwork including accurate completion of job cards and service records. ·Able to work with the Parts and Service Reception teams in a professional manner. ·Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy, and well-maintained. ·Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when appropriate. ·LGV C & E license beneficial   Key Skills ·Good HGV technical knowledge ·A general level of computer literacy is advantageous. ·Can use your own initiative and are time wisely. ·Able to effectively communicate both written and verbally and be an active team member. ·To adapt and take on new skills and approaches and participate in training and development activities.   Qualifications/requirements ·C&G, NVQ 3 or equivalent ·HGV Technician: 3 years (required) ·Experience within the commercial vehicle industry ·HGV Driving License (preferred)   Benefits and salary ·Salary between £36,000 - £40,000 pa ·DOE and overtime rates for extra hours worked. ·22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays ·Company health cash plan (after the qualifying period) to help with healthcare costs e.g. optician, dentist, physio, etc. ·Pension scheme ·Employee Assistance Programme - access 24/7 to health and well-being support ·Cycle-to-work scheme ·On-site parking ·Training & development opportunities - in-house and manufacturer's ensuring you keep up with innovations and industry developments.   Call Russ for further details on (phone number removed) or (phone number removed), alternatively apply online or send an up to date CV to (url removed)
