HGV Technician – Night Shift & Breakdown (Totton) Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a role that combines workshop work with breakdown and roadside assistance? Key Responsibilities: * Conduct vehicle inspections and general servicing * Diagnose faults and repair vehicle defects efficiently * Carry out road tests and MOT preparation/presentation * Respond to breakdowns and provide roadside assistance as required * Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time What We’re Looking For: * Qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) * Qualified Roadside Recovery Technician * Previous experience within the commercial vehicle sector * Full UK Driving Licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential) * Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and team-oriented approach * Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service Working Hours & Benefits: * Permanent evening shift: 1.00pm – 10.30pm (Mon-Fri, 45-hour week) * Split shift option: * Week 1: 6.00am – 3.30pm (Mon-Fri) * Week 2: 1.00pm – 10.30pm (Mon-Fri) * Flexible start and finish times to support work-life balance * Very competitive salary, including shift allowance * Overtime opportunities available * Additional benefits after 12 months This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated HGV Technician who wants to combine workshop experience with roadside support, in a role that offers career growth, variety, and a supportive team environment.
