Job Role: HGV Technician  Location: Chorley  Salary: £37,000 - £47,000 Hours: Monday to Friday days  Benefits: Overtime paid at 1.5 HGV Technician opportunity My client, a market leading fleet vehicle manufacturer and maintainer based in Lancashire. They have been established for over 70 years and are partners with some of the leading commercial vehicle manufactures in the world. They are at the front of new technology and offer a second to none level of service. Due to their continued success, they are now looking for a skilled HGV technician to join their ever growing team. HGV Technician Duties Working in a team of highly skilled and experienced HGV Technicians on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles, the successful applicants will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, your duties will include; Vehicle inspections. General servicing and pre-planned maintenance. Reactive maintenance as required. MOT preparation / Presentation. Correction of running defects. Welding and fabricating General HGV Technician duties HGV Technician Experience You will have an in-depth knowledge of HGV's and other commercial vehicles. Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but no essential). The successful HGV Technician must be a fully skilled with industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three) in heavy vehicle service, maintenance and repair.
