Shorterm Group are looking for a qualified HGV Technician, looking to join one of the largest HGV manufacturers in the UK, on a permanent full-time basis. We would like to hear from you if you have worked in a similar environment and understand the intricate workings of large commercial vehicles. Duties of the HGV Technician will include but may not be limited to: * Interpreting instructions from the job card/repair order and comply with repair instructions. * Attending training and keep abreast of the latest technical information. * Accurately reporting and recording work done and tests carried out, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults. * Maintaining allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition. * Providing information, maintaining records, and carrying out all duties in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. * Enhancing the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests. The ideal HGV Technician will have: * A recognised HGV technician qualification * Previous experience of working with HGVs, ideally in a workshop environment. * The ability to work well as part of a small team, be a good communicator and be able to take on a variety of different workloads, planned or otherwise. * Able to commute to the Sheffield site.
