They are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join their night shift team, offering long-term job security, ongoing training and excellent opportunities to develop your career. 🔧 The Role Working in a busy workshop, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs and commercial vehicles while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. 🔧 Key Responsibilities * Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles * Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults * Carry out inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance * Complete MOT preparation and safety inspections * Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults * Ensure all work complies with DVSA and manufacturer standards * Complete workshop paperwork accurately * Maintain high standards of health & safety and workshop housekeeping * Support the efficient running of the night shift operation 🔧 About You * NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair * Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills * Good knowledge of HGV servicing and repair procedures * Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently * Positive attitude and strong team ethic 🔧 What's on Offer * £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience * Enhanced overtime rates * Permanent, structured night shift * Ongoing manufacturer and industry training * Excellent career progression opportunities * Modern workshop with high-quality equipment * Additional company benefits * Long-term job security If you're looking for a secure night shift role with excellent earning potential and opportunities to progress, we'd love to hear from you.
