An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Level 3 Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join the team of our well-established client. Questech Automotive are currently looking for an experienced HGV Vehicle Technician to join a well-established company. Location: Southampton Hours: Monday to Friday – Day Shifts 40 hours per week + extra hours available if required. Pay: You will earn an hourly rate of between £17.50 - £29.00 per hour depending on shift and experience. – Weekly Payroll. *Immediate Starts Available* This is an on-going position with no end date!, you can be paid PAYE or UMBRELLA to suit your needs. Responsibilities: - Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs according to established guidelines and procedures - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment - Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements - Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions Qualifications: - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems - Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members - Experience in vehicle maintenance, assembly, welding, or equipment repair is preferred - Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for various repair tasks - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
