Position:                HGV Technician Location:               Salisbury Salary:                   £42,231 Shift:                      Days 4 on 4 off HGV Technician Opportunity Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for another HGV Technician to be based at our onsite purpose-built, state of the art HGV Vehicle Maintenance Unit. The unit is Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency equipped, and operates a Tachograph bay with six fully equipped working bays which enables the maintenance and servicing of our modern fleet of vehicles and trailers. HGV Technician duties   Carry out preventative vehicle maintenance and servicing, MOT preparation and repairs to a high standard Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment Repair or replace broken or defective parts and resolve defects Road test vehicles to check repairs Tail Lift maintenance and vehicle body work repairs, fabrication and basic welding processesHGV Technician experience required   Proven experience as an HGV Technician Experience in fault diagnostic equipment, e.g. Tech tool, STAR and JAL and including trailer systems IRTEC inspection licence along with any tail lift inspection certification would be highly beneficialIf you are an HGV Technician and would like to apply for this exciting HGV Technician role with one of the region’s leading employers, make an application via this advert INDT
