HGV Technician – Volvo Commercial Vehicles | Stockton-on-Tees 📍 Stockton-on-Tees 💰 £40,000 – £50,000 per annum (depending on experience) ⏰ Early / Late Shift Pattern + Every Other Saturday 📋 Permanent Position 🔧 Volvo Commercial Vehicles We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Volvo Commercial Vehicle dealership in Stockton-on-Tees for an experienced HGV Technician to join their established workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected manufacturer environment, working on high-quality Volvo vehicles with strong focus on training, development, and long-term career progression. 🔧 The Role As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for: * Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on Volvo HGVs and commercial vehicles * Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults * Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance * Preparing vehicles for MOT and ensuring compliance with DVSA standards * Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults * Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer standards * Maintaining accurate job records and documentation 🔧 Shift Pattern * Early / Late shift rotation * Every other Saturday required * Structured working pattern with overtime opportunities available 🔧 Requirements * Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) * Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Full UK driving licence * HGV licence advantageous but not essential 🔧 What's On Offer? * £40,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE) * Manufacturer training with Volvo * Clear progression routes within the business * Stable and structured shift pattern * Overtime available * Modern workshop environment and diagnostic equipment * Long-term career development opportunities If you're an experienced HGV Technician looking to develop your career within a leading Volvo dealership in Stockton-on-Tees, we'd love to hear from you.
