HGV Technician Location: Blandford Salary: £18.00 – £22.00 per hour + overtime Hours: Full-time, Permanent Overview We’re recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join an established workshop in Blandford. This is a permanent role with strong pay, guaranteed daily overtime, and manufacturer-led training to keep you progressing in your career as a qualified HGV Technician. Hours of Work Week 1: Monday – Friday, 07:00 am – 05:00 pm Week 2: Monday – Friday, 08:00 am – 06:00 pm + Saturday, 08:00 am – 12:00 pm Overtime: A minimum of 1.5 hours available daily, paid at time and a half Earnings Potential (based on £18–22 ph + overtime at 1.5x): Base: £37,440 – £45,760 per year With 10 hours overtime per month: Up to £47,940 OTE With 20 hours overtime per month: Up to £50,120 OTE With 30 hours overtime per month: Up to £52,300 OTE Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs of HGVs as an experienced HGV Technician Fault finding and diagnostics using modern equipment Support with call-out and breakdown cover on a rota basis which can be discussed at interview to reach higher earning potential Maintain high workshop standards with a safety-first approach What’s On Offer £18.00 – £22.00 per hour (DOE) Guaranteed daily overtime at time and a half 20 days holiday (rising to 25 with service) Manufacturer training provided for all HGV Technicians Call-out rota with extra earning potential What You’ll Need Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or Heavy Vehicle Fitter Strong diagnostic and repair ability across a range of vehicles A proactive, reliable approach to work Sound like you?
