HGV Technician Location: Attleborough, NR17 Pay: £20 per hour – Permanent position Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm) Overtime: Available On-call: 1 in 5 weeks – call-outs paid at a premium Benefits * Company pension * Free on-site parking About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated HGV & Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop team in Attleborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently while also being part of a supportive, professional team. You will play a key role in keeping our fleet safe, reliable, and fully compliant through high-quality maintenance and repair work. Key Responsibilities * Maintain, service, and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles to a high standard * Carry out routine maintenance including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections * Diagnose and repair faults across engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems * Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex technical issues * Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with company procedures What We’re Looking For * Qualified or time-served HGV/Commercial Vehicle Technician * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good attention to detail and commitment to safety * Reliable, proactive, and professional attitude apply with your CV
