As a Heavy Goods Mechanic / Heavy Goods Technician / HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic you will need to have previous work experience in the motor trade. The Heavy Goods Mechanic / Heavy Goods Technician / HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic involves: * Repairing company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation * Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards * Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment. * Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work. * Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard * To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager. Required for this Heavy Goods Mechanic / Heavy Goods Technician / HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic : * Level 3 as a Heavy Goods Mechanic / Heavy Goods Technician / HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic * Diagnostic experience * Must have own tools * Experience in a main dealer is an advantage. Hours for the Heavy Goods Mechanic / Heavy Goods Technician / HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic: 40-hour week – Monday – Friday 06.00 – 14.30 alternating 13.00 – 22.00. (1 hour lunch) The company are open to basic salaries, plus you will make bonus and overtime. This will be discussed at interview stage.
