Job Title:             HGV Technician Shift:                  Monday – Friday days (45 hrs) Location:             Wellington   Salary:                 £47,000 HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity Due to increased business levels our specialist fleet maintenance company is looking to add an additional HGV technician / Mechanic / Fitter to the team. Duties of the HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter Perform a variety of routine servicing, inspections and subsequent repairs to a variety of trucks and commercial vehicles Perform visual or operational checks to locate worn, dirty or maladjusted parts. Carry out technical inspections Will be required to undertake thorough inspections of accident damaged machines and produce accurate reports to enable repair. In this HGV technician / Mechanic / Fitter role you will be working on customer sites with or without workshop facilities being available for useExperience/skills required for the HGV Technician/ Mechanic / Fitter Ideally hold full HGV qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds) Previous experience working on a range of heavy goods vehicles Hold an HGV Class 1 or 2 licence would be beneficial Valid driving licence.
