HGV Sales Executive Swindon Full time/Permanent Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5.30pm OTE £50K We are currently recruiting for an HGV Sales Executive to join our client based in their Swindon location. You must have: * Relevant Industry/Commercial Vehicle Product knowledge, experience and good understanding of truck sales process. * You need to be pro-active, take pride in what you do, excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn and be engaged with training and an interest in pursuing a career within the industry. * This role is to sell the full portfolio of new vehicles. * This includes all services, maintenance, financial products offered, workshop aftermarket, services and parts development. * The majority of your time will be field based so a valid UK driving licence is essential Main tasks and responsibilities: * To sell new and used vehicles and exceed the levels expected for your area. * To sell the complete range of products and services. * To actively prospect for new business, both with existing and new customers. * To maintain relationships with existing customers. * To work effectively with the CRM system. * To provide accurate financially sound quotations to customers, taking into consideration all their requirements. * Weekly reporting to Group Sales Manager and Directors. * Meet targets set by Group Sales Manager. * To attend regular meetings with the Group Sales Managers and Sales Team to ensure maximum customer satisfaction is achieved. * Attend and support customer events as and when required. * Some events maybe outside of your normal working hours, this will help to maximise potential opportunities for profitable growth within the business. * Conduct and appearance is business-like at all times. * Work in accordance with standards of health, safety, quality & environmental care. * Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by your manager. Key Skills and Competencies * Good time management. * Ability to work on your own. * Use your initiative to create new business. * Negotiation, ability to communicate with potential new and existing clients. * To negotiate professionally in tough situations whilst maintaining good working relationships. * Business acumen, a good understanding of strategies and tactics. * Be aware of competitors. * Work to a high standard of integrity.
