HGV Mechanic Logical Personnel Solutions are looking to recruit a HGV mechanic for one of our well established clients based in, Bilston area. This person will be placed on a Temp to Perm contract for a well renowned company in the area that specialises in the Aggregate & Low Loader based deliveries. This family run business has been in operation for around 50 years. The Role: The HGV Mechanic will be required to work Monday to Friday on days starting between 06:00am - 17:00pm but must be flexible in case of breakdowns etc. The work starts immediately and involves working in a in the onsite garage/workshop. You will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of servicing, maintenance and managing a small team. Requirements for this role: * Must be competent and confident the correction of running defects to full vehicles overhauls, diagnostics, and anything else needed. * Will be required to take on pre-MOT checks and any repairs required. * Over 6 months experience in a similar position with detailed experience as a HGV Mechanic * Having an industry recognised qualification is beneficial (NVQ or City & Guilds) * A full HGV Cat C+E licence with Valid CPC and DIGI Card for pick up and transportation purposes. * Knowledge or experience of working with the R2C online system is preferred but not essential. Hours & Pay: The start times are 06:00am and the HGV Mechanic will work upwards of 50+ hours over a 5 days period but must be flexible to work earlier or later should the job require it.
