The Industrial Work Solutions UK who operate as an employment business are currently looking for HGV Mechanics in the Lancaster area. You will have strong previous experience working on Heavy Commercial Vehicles and Diesel Engines. You will be required to carry out routine maintenance, service and repair on a variety of HGVs / Heavy Vehicles / Trucks & Trailers including MOT preparation. Key requirements: * Experience of Unimogs / tractors / HGVs. * Good all-round mechanical skills. * Ability to work under supervision and on own initiative. * Keen eye for detail spotting problems and diagnosing work and parts needed based on symptoms. * Working quickly and efficiently to get work done thoroughly & to a high standard but on time. * Strong, fit and healthy – working with heavy machinery and tools on a daily basis. * Engineering experience or qualifications are an advantage. * Welding / bodywork / fabrication skills are an advantage.+ Hours of Work * Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm * Overtime available If you are interested in this role, please submit an up to date cv or get in touch on (phone number removed)
