This role is available as late shifts (2PM - 10.30PM) or split shifts (1 week of days 6AM - 2.30PM / 1 week of lates)  The HGV Mechanic Role: Repair a fleet of vehicles in accordance to manufacturer specification Diagnose or assist in the diagnosis of vehicle faults Assist with roadside breakdowns when required Accurately fill out service sheets As the successful HGV Mechanic you: Will have previous experience working as a HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, HGV Fitter or HGV Engineer, Workshop Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Mechanic, Fitter, Technician, Engineer, Workshop Chargehand, Workshop Foreman or similar.  May hold a City and Guilds or NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Automotive Mechanics / Engineering, Plant Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering. May have experience in carrying out MOT's to VOSA standards. May have worked on the following manufacturers: DAF, Iveco, MAN, Volvo, Mercedes Benz, Iveco, Scania etc. Previous experience in a hands-on role working on HGVs / LGVs is essential for this role.   This HGV Mechanic role is commutable from: Stroud, Cheltenham, Ross-on-Wye, Tewkesbury, Worcester, Churchdown Cirencester, Cinderford, Gloucester, Ledbury & surrounding areas.
