Red Sky is seeking a talented and experienced Mechanic to join client at Birmingham Airport. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ground support equipment (GSE) fleet, keeping airside operations running efficiently and safely. What You'll Do: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of GSE vehicles and equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. Maintain accurate and detailed service records for all GSE equipment. Collaborate with internal customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service. Contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations. Participate in scheduled preventative maintenance (PPM) for GSE vehicles and equipment. We're looking for someone with: A minimum of 5 years' experience in vehicle maintenance, preferably with GSE or HGV experience. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently. A meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and customers. The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license A clean criminal record check is mandatory for airside access.
