Our client will also take on technicians trained in HGV's, who are keen to transfer to the buses, with all training provided. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a reputable UK PSV operator who invest greatly in staff training and development. You will have at least 3 years’ experience as a Heavy Vehicle Engineer / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician and hold a recognised qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / Full Apprenticeship). General duties for this Bus Mechanic / PSV Technician role include Inspections; Running Defects; Servicing, Maintenance & Repair; Pre MOT-Preparation; Engine & Gearbox Repairs & Overhauls; Complete all the relevant paperwork to a high standard.
