Role Overview: As a Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor, you will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation and internal procedures. You will support and guide managers on health, safety, and environmental issues. Key Responsibilities: * Promote and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. * Ensure adherence to HSE policies and external requirements. * Keep the leadership team informed of HSE compliance changes. * Develop strategies to improve safety and reduce environmental impact. * Complete and review Risk Assessments and maintain records. * Coordinate fire and evacuation programs. * Assist managers with risk assessments. * Conduct internal compliance audits and develop action plans. * Promote health and safety practices in the workplace. * Manage first aid and fire safety representatives, including training. * Review and implement control measures for PPE. * Investigate and report accidents and near-miss incidents. * Conduct HSE inspections and prepare reports. * Arrange training to meet legislative standards. * Review and implement contractor health and safety procedures. * Stay updated on legislative changes and implement relevant updates. * Skills and Experience Required: * Minimum five years of health & safety experience in manufacturing or similar industry. * NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, or equivalent. * Experience in internal health & safety audits. * Knowledge of ISO 14001 and 9001 standards. * Strong presentation, written, analytical, and IT skills. * Excellent interpersonal skills for guiding and training at all levels. * Proficiency in people management and maintaining a safe work environment. * Problem-solving skills and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. * Organizational skills and attention to detail in HSE contexts. * Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. * Experience in report writing, incident investigation, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). * Self-motivated and collaborative on HSE initiatives. * Trustworthy and discreet with sensitive HSE information.
