Your expertise will ensure safety, excellence, and seamless operations, helping us uphold the highest standards. 🎬 Key Responsibilities As a GSE Technician, you will carry out essential repairs and maintenance on vehicles and plant equipment, always ensuring work meets the highest standards. You'll be responsible for conducting inspections, brake and smoke tests, and consulting the Workshop Supervisor before initiating repairs or booking parts. Fault diagnosis, timely updates to the Workshop Supervisor, and accurate completion of job cards and inspection sheets via tablet are integral to the role. Additionally, you'll handle defective parts or tools, ensuring proper quarantine and labelling, and adhere to Health and Safety guidelines, ISO9001 standards, and environmental policies. Promoting a safe work environment through the reporting of hazards, incidents, and near-misses is a key aspect of the position. 🕵 What We Are Looking For We are seeking candidates with a strong understanding of motor mechanics and vehicle maintenance, ideally with experience in workshop operations and SAP systems. A background in vehicle or plant maintenance, especially in logistics, is preferred. Candidates must hold an LGV Motor Mechanics certification Level 3 (essential) and, ideally, a Forklift certification.
