NEW GENERAL MANAGER JOB BUCKINGHAMSHIRE BASED 60K BASIC, 80K OTE + COMPANY BENEFITS A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a General Manager / GM at our clients site close to Aylesbury. You will manage and control the efficient running of our aftersales site’s, supporting and developing the staff whilst continuing to improve customer satisfaction and deliver the highest standards of service. Duties of the General Manager / GM : * Identify opportunities to improve processes and ensure that all KPIs and financial measures are achieved in line with agreed performance levels * Communicate carefully and appropriately to attain all company goals and to delight our customers whilst constantly looking for business opportunities for the company. * Responsible for the day to day site management including P&L, budget and KPIs, parts department and administration. * Comply with all dealership and company quality/environmental standards and processes. * Management and control of all WIP, warranty, contracts and debtors. * Ensure the service team receive all necessary training so that customers continue to receive the highest standard of service. * Maintain and build positive working relationships with customers and ensure deadlines are met * Ensure that both branches are fully compliant with all health and safety measures and operate within the guidelines set out in the company health and safety policy. * Seek opportunities to identify and implement improvements to operational work practices and processes into service department * To build an effective team with a positive attitude in line with the company values What we require from the General Manager / GM : * Previous experience within an General Manager / Aftersales Manager position in the motor trade * An in depth understanding of aftersales departments * Lead by example act as a role model for employees to follow. * Set and achieve high personal standards of work. * Proven experience at managing * Be friendly, approachable and a team-player with a positive attitude * Continually seek out opportunities to promote the company and attract more customers.
