Elevation Recruitment Group currently working with a reputable manufacturer which operates within automotive assembly in the recruitment of a Site General Manager. This is an excellent opportunity and one which will support the direction and growth of the site and its people within. I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee the sites manufacturing and assembly operations. You be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of leadership in the manufacturing sector, possessing strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for driving operational efficiency and growth. This role will play a key role in providing strategic direction and leadership to the manufacturing team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. This General Manager will be responsible for: Oversee all aspects of manufacturing & assembly operations, including production planning, scheduling, quality control, and resource management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and reduce costs. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflow, resolve issues, and drive innovation. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence among manufacturing staff. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other external stakeholders. Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the manufacturing industry. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting financial data and metrics. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, technologies, and best practices. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the manufacturing industry. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
