Our OEM Client based in Coventry, is searching for a Functional Safety Validation Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a 12-month contract position initially until 31st March 2026, with the potential for further extensions. Umbrella Pay Rate: Up to £33.64 per hour. Duties:  This function is responsible for the functional safety verification of battery management controls software. Level:  A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.  Responsibilities typically include: Understand and co-ordinate activities between all Stakeholders in order to deliver safety-related verification activities. Ensure common approach and common technical solutions where possible across all projects. Ensure that ISO26262 [Part 6]/[Parts 4&5] are satisfied. Problems faced are difficult and often complex.  Skills:  Technical knowledge of ISO26262 [Part 6]/[Parts 4&5
