Mechanic – Fleet Mechanic * Day shift * Monday- Friday * Salary up to 35K The Basics Job Title: Mechanic/ Fleet Mechanic Location: Based at the head office in Rochester Salary: c £35,000 Per Annum Rota: Monday – Friday 40 hours Paid monthly: PAYE Brief: To successfully maintain a fleet of 60+ vehicles. Mainly, Iveco and Mercedes vans. Along with additional ‘plant’ machinery maintenance. Mechanic Duties & Responsibilities * Working with the fleet department who coordinate both the vehicles between drivers and any maintenance requirements. * Maintain up to 60 vehicles and plant machinery. * Diagnostics and troubleshooting * General servicing of vehicles * Ensuring vehicles are fully road legal. * Completing any paperwork/ documentation required Mechanic Skills, Qualifications & Experience * 3+ years’ experience * Experience working with commercial Mercedes vehicles and Iveco. * An independent worker with the ability to problem solve.
