Our client is looking for an experienced Fleet & Compliance Manager to oversee the operations of a 100+ vehicle and trailer fleet. The role involves leading a team of 7 (including workshop and assistant managers), ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, and managing budgets, maintenance schedules, and driver performance. The role would benefit from hybrid 4 days in office and 1 work form home. Key Responsibilities Act as named Transport Manager on the Operator Licence, ensuring legal compliance. Manage driver hours, tachograph regulations, and incidents. Lead internal audits and maintain compliance processes. Oversee vehicle maintenance in coordination with the Workshop Manager. Plan budgets, control costs, and manage supplier contracts. Handle breakdowns, emergency repairs, and out-of-hours coordination.
