FAIRS Inspector Company details One of the UK’s Leading Aerospace Manufacturers is currently seeking to recruit a FAIRS Inspector. The successful FAIRS Inspector will become part of a well-respected Aerospace parts Supplier within the UK. The FAIRS Inspector position will be Based at the site in Basildon, Essex. Our client currently employ over 200 people at the site, we are now looking to add a permanent FAIRS Inspector to the work force to assist with the growth of the business. For this Fairs Inspector position you must: * To maintain quality control within the manufacturing process, in line with business standards and customer requirements. * Inspection and verification of parts at all stages within business. * First article inspection procedures. * Non-conformance procedures. * Root cause analysis and resolution. * Work as part of team to achieve quality and production targets. * Support process of building quality into the manufacturing cycle. * Represent quality function at team meetings. * CMM experience advantageous. Core skills/attributes needed for the FAIRS inspector: * Experienced in an engineering background. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. * Technical knowledge & experience within the aerospace sector preferred. * Experience in a quality control environment preferred. * Provide 1st Article Inspection Reports. * First Article Inspection experience. * Working to ISO 9001. * Attention to detail. * Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision. * Good level of computer literacy.
