You must be keen to learn new skills and able to workday shift. Based on a temp to perm basis. 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday 08.00 – 13.00 Fridays with optional overtime after 37 hours. Time and a half after 37 hours and on Saturdays, double time Sunday and bank holidays. Training provided and progression plan available You will be assembling parts and panels to the specification of engineering drawings. You may be requested to support other manufacturing departments if the workload requires. You will become skilled in your work area and have you own workstation and tools. Key Responsibilities * Bonding * Potting Inserts * Filling * Sanding * De-coring * Drilling * Edge taping Key Performance Measures * Parts per day completed. * Reject rates. * Efficiency Knowledge and skills * Understand basic engineering drawing. * Experience of handheld tools (sanders / drills) * Knowledge of measuring equipment (rulers / verniers / tape measure) * Time served or interest in hands on production role and assembly (possibly carpentry or building background) * Attention to detail.
