We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Real Estate Manager to join our award-winning client , taking great pride and care in, and fully participating in real estate expansion program; ultimately, taking responsibility for all client’s facilities. You will be working very closely with your UK colleagues and business partners, our client’s colleagues in Germany and Korea, in project managing the opening of our client’s new Studio’s and facilities. Core Role Responsibilities This is a great role for someone looking to develop their career as their 1st Real Estate Manager, working collaboratively with European Headquarter real estate team in Germany. The core responsibilities will include the following: * Working with our client’s senior management team to identify, plan and manage our Studio and facilities ‘rollout’ plan. * Responsibility for the project management of all new real estate and facilities projects and the property and facilities management of existing locations. * The preparation of reports, including financial and legal, and recommendations for the Board. * The coordination of all stakeholders, eg. HQ architects, local architects, lawyers, engineers, construction managers, real estate agencies, design development, tender, construction, financial control, finalization report, etc. * The active effective management of all real estate suppliers eg. Building security, maintenance contractors, insurance, parking space allocation, etc. * Monitoring and managing the health and safety standards across all facilities to ensure our people are safe and that the company is compliant with all relevant regulations at all times. * Maintaining accurate financial and non-financial reports. * Regularly perform analysis and forecasting, eg. utilities consumption and strive to maximize efficiencies. We are seeking someone who is dynamic and creative with a strong attention to detail. Furthermore, you will take great pride in your work. Core Skills and Experience Required * Several years of experience in luxury retail site development, retail construction and facilities management. * Proven project management skills with experience in real estate & facilities management. * Well-versed in technical/ engineering operations and facilities management best practices. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent organizational and leadership skills. * Good analytical/ critical thinking. * BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field. * Budget management: Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles. * Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) will be an advantage. * Experience of working in an international matrix organisation is an advantage. * Willingness to travel regularly within UK, including willingness to undertake overnight stays from time to time as the business needs require and to the EU from time to time.
