We are currently looking for a Facilities Engineer to work for an automotive manufacturing customer of ours in Warwick. The main duties of the role include: * Maintaining buildings, plant, and equipment. * Perform effective fault finding, diagnosis, analysis, and corrective measures for all equipment on site. * Install new parts and ensure equipment is functioning correctly. * Conduct repairs and replace faulty components to restore equipment functionality and minimise production interruptions. * Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory management. * Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation. * Ensure Health & Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Compliance processes and controls are maintained. * Work in compliance with H&S, identifying and controlling hazards through risk assessments. * Continuous Improvement & Emergency Response. * Respond promptly to emergencies, unplanned problems, breakdowns, and repairs. Essential pre-requisites; * Experience in general building maintenance (production environment) * Mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy plant equipment * Background working with hydraulic & pneumatic systems * Comfortable using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Experience working on domestic plumbing and compressed air systems * IOSH certified * Educated to apprenticeship / NVQ / C&G Lv.3 in relevant field Desirable skills / experience; * 18th Edition wiring regulations * Familiarity of Idhammar Maintenance software or similar (PPM) * Experience repairing welding equipment Company benefits include; * 5 weeks holiday * Bike to work scheme * Enhanced pension scheme * Health shield medical cash plan (access to a GP 24/7) * My benefits platform - offering discounts on high street retailers & more
