Our Northamptonshire based client are looking for a Fabricator / Welder to join them on permanent basis. MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE We are looking for suitably qualified fabricator/welder with bodyshell experience and to assist with conversion of bespoke production vehicles for an industry respected client and manufacture of production parts. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Ensure accurate fabrication of all components to engineering drawings. • Ensure timescales are met for fabrication aspect of the conversion process. • Maintain a clean and orderly workplace. • Excellent time management. • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time • Compliance with all departmental H&S requirements • Compliance, where appropriate with management, & environmental, systems, such as ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION Experience • Experience in production vehicle fabrication and repair. • Experienced in TIG welding but capability in MIG welding an advantage. • Experience in welding any of following materials - Aluminium, 4130/T45/15CDV6 steel and Stainless steel. • Knowledge of brake press, punches, hand tools and sheet metal work an advantage Additional information Pension - Upon joining the Company, you will be automatically enrolled, with contributions starting after successful completion of the probationary period. Leave entitlement - 25 days per year plus statutory holidays (compulsory shutdown of three days at Christmas). Working hours - 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
