REMOTE / Work From Home!!! Senior EWIS 2D & 3D Designer Contracts This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced EWIS (electrical wiring interconnection systems) design engineers to work remotely for an innovative EV powered jets company based on the continent. We are seeking experienced 2D and 3D EWIS design engineers on an outside IR35 contract basis. The roles are based fully remotely and will be for 6 months duration although can continue longer (subject to UK / German taxation laws). What you will do: Using Capital Graphics and/or NX, you will lead all EWIS design aspects related to harnesses, assemblies, and parts in 2D and 3D including schematics, wiring diagrams and drawings. You will take responsibility for the development of subsystems and components and ensure their compliance to certification and safety standards. We require 2D engineers and 3D engineers – responsibilities delineated as follows: 1. 2D EWIS schematic engineers Using Capital Graphics you will be responsible for producing electrical schematics and pin out details of all harnesses 1. 3D EWIS routing engineers Using NX you will be responsible for harness routings including clipping, marking, segregation and protection, bend radii etc What you will need: * Educated to degree level with experience in the aerospace industry, with significant background in EWIS/Avionics electrical integration * Knowledge of either electrical 3D NX or 2D Capital Graphic * Good knowledge of aerospace standards and specifications such as AC43.13-1B, ATA chapter 20, ATA 100, S1000D, ARP4754A and DO160 is preferred.
