Position Description: As EV Packaging & Compliance Lead sat in the Global Centre of Excellence for Quality, Compliance & Sustainability, you will be responsible for ensuring the Quality and Compliance readiness of the Global Supply Chain Operations for the transition to electrification at volume. Defining requirements and performing gap analysis, reviewing, and communicating standards, and guiding and assessing the Global Operational teams across our Packaging, Warehousing and Transport operations as the company transforms its aftermarket supply chain operation as part of our electrification journey. You will also own the process and governance of the definition and implementation of both logistics quality and compliance workstreams related to batteries and electrification. Liaising with regional analysts to implement across our global footprint and defining how we deliver the best quality of supply to end customers in aftermarket, as well as how our global operation functions efficiently and compliantly across international trade and regulatory frameworks. You will be ensuring the quality of physical delivery to retail partners, Importers, and intra-company shipments globally, as well as working with all our regions to regularly review quality metrics and guiding regional experts on detailed root cause analysis and development / tracking of actions to improve. You will also be standardising practice across the regions to help drive continuous improvement globally as well as overseeing the administration of battery or EV product related issues, defining, and aligning the global processes, ensuring timely processing of resolution, and driving follow up with regions if required. You will also be the central point of contact across our matrix organisation, working with other Centres of Excellence and our regional footprint to identify, analyse and improve any regulatory or international trade operational barriers, recording findings and actions, and ensuring any improvement actions are agreed with appropriate intra-company functions as required, maximising efficiency whilst maintaining organisational compliance. Skills & Experience Required: * Experience of EITHER battery/lithium-ion technology and regulations OR significant experience in international logistics regulations and compliance in automotive or similar industry * Excellent project management skills, experience in working with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization and a passion about moving tasks forward as well as taking full ownership of projects / issues * Ability to distil complex regulatory requirements into clear, concise process documentation / communications * Collaborative with a solid understanding of customer and team dynamics * Excellent collaboration and communication skills * Highly data driven, with experience in drawing data from multiple sources, analysing and interpreting it, drawing conclusions, and making data-based decisions Additional information: Inside IR35 If you are interested and have the skills and experience required Apply Now!
