Job Title: Engineering Technician Location: Nottingham, NG1 Pay: £19.61 Shifts: Monday to Sunday 05:30 am to 01:30 pm 01:00 pm to 09:00 pm Main Duties and Responsibilities: The Engineering Technician should maintain, inspect, diagnose, repair, and test mechanical and electrical systems. Perform necessary repairs on buses and company vehicles to high standards. Conduct maintenance activities while ensuring good working practices and health and safety standards. Utilize knowledge as a responsible Engineering Technician in both electrical and mechanical systems within the HGV/PCV repair industry. Adapt to varying workloads and undertake ongoing vehicle type training. Requirements as an Engineering Technician: Car and PCV driving license. The Engineering Technician should be experienced with Cummins and Scania drivetrain and electrical systems. Familiarity with modern CAN bus electrical systems and OEM diagnostic systems. At least 3 years of post-qualifying experience in a main dealer, PSV, or HGV workshop. Recognised apprenticeship qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ 3) in heavy vehicle repair (truck or bus).
