Job Description   Position - Engine Test Technician - ATU Technician   Salary - £28,000 to £40,000 per annum depending on experience   Location - Kent   Job purpose   The position of Technician requires the need to support all facets of testing, across the Centre Of Excellence test facility, the facilities include Engine Test (Performance & Validation), Vehicle Test, Rig Test (Performance & Validation), Specialist Environmental rigs, NVH rigs and FIE (fuel injection equipment) build.   Key responsibilities   Duties will include, but are not limited to: -   Be part of the facility test Engine test, Rig test and specialist test facilities. Initial setup of tests in terms of mechanical installation. Support software and instrumentation setup and maintenance through the test process. Maintenance of tests under test on the facility, planned interventions, servicing and repairs. Test program editing. Work in a safe manner observing safety protocols for the given area. Work to the given processes (documented). Maintain the product under test, first stage diagnostics. Disassemble and build of product. Product knowledge in terms of function. General facility support. Be a motivated team member.
