Job Specification: Electronics Technician Our aerospace client based in Bedhampton, near Havant are seeking a Electronics Technician to join them on a PAYE contract basis, They Manufacture, assemble, test and service high performance products such as hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors, electric motorpumps, power transfer units, hydraulic power packages, hydraulic motor driven AC/DC generators and generator control units., used to operate flight control systems on civil and military aircraft. They are proud to be recognised is an industry leader in aerospace hydraulic systems, offering high quality and high reliability products which are currently flying on a range of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. Shift: Production Shift 1: (Apply online only) Mon-Thurs, and 06:30-1130 on Fri Production Shift 2: (Apply online only) Mon-Thurs and (Apply online only) on Fri Salary (Level 1) PAYE + Holiday Pay = £13.51/hr Option to advance holiday pay = £15.47p/h Overtime over 37 hours paid at x1.5 Sundays and bank holidays paid at x2 Responsibilities: Assemble electronic Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) according to specifications and engineering drawings. Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies. Perform soldering and rework on electronic components as necessary. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control measures to ensure product integrity. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to uphold safety and efficiency standards. Document assembly and testing procedures accurately for future reference. Requirements: Diploma or certification in Electronics or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in electronic PCB assembly and testing, preferably in the aerospace or high-reliability industry. Proficiency in soldering techniques and familiarity with electronic components. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation. Strong attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Career Progression: Opportunity to advance to higher grades (Level 2 and Level 3) with increased responsibilities and corresponding pay adjustments.
