A new role has arisen for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire. This is a full-time permanent role working a day shift Monday to Friday (39 hours per week), it comes with an annual salary up to £42,000 per annum (dependant on experience). The hiring manager is either looking for a Time Served Electrical Engineer, or someone that holds Electrical Engineering qualifications, 17th or 18th edition would also be preferred. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be working within a busy manufacturing environment, conducting PPM on machines, scheduling repairs and installing machines, tools, and equipment, maintaining documentation logs, reacting quickly to breakdowns and reporting any major machine faults to the Lead Engineer. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be required to: Be responsible for the installation and commissioning of any new machinery Plan and carry out routine scheduled and preventative maintenance work Provide an electrical engineering service to the production team to achieve minimal downtime React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.
