An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrical / Design Engineer to join a growing aviation engineering team supporting aircraft upgrade and modification programmes. This role will focus on aircraft interior systems, electrical integration, and avionic modifications within a certified aviation engineering environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, analysis, and integration of aircraft electrical systems across a range of projects. Key Responsibilities Design aircraft wiring systems and harnesses, including connectors, circuit breakers, and associated electrical components Produce and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) for aircraft integration projects Perform Electrical Load Analysis and generate technical reports Conduct EWIS and EZAP assessments and prepare associated documentation Source and assess electrical components to meet technical and certification requirements Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions Estimate engineering effort and support continuous improvement of engineering processes Participate in design reviews and provide technical input on electrical integration solutions Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline Previous Safety Management System (SMS) training within aviation design, production, or maintenance Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal Strong knowledge of CS23, CS25, and CS27 airworthiness regulations Good understanding of EASA Part 21 requirements Experience producing technical reports and engineering documentation Proven experience working with aircraft electrical systems and avionics integration What's on Offer Permanent or contract opportunities available Competitive salary or hourly rate depending on experience Opportunity to work on innovative aircraft modification and upgrade projects Collaborative engineering environment within the aviation sector This position would suit an experienced Electrical / Design Engineer with a strong background in aircraft electrical integration and aviation compliance
