Electrical EDS Engineer required in Leeds Role: EDS Engineer (Electrical Distribution System Engineer) Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Type: Full-Time, permanent Hours: Mon-Thu 8am - 4.45pm; Friday 8am-12.30pm We are looking for an experienced EDS Engineer to join our Client's R&D team working on product development within the Automotive industry, specialising in Electric Vehicles. Requirements: A minimum of 3 years Automotive Engineering (Automotive Electrical Engineering); A good understanding of EDS system design (fusing, grounding, network topologies); Ability to use circuit design software (e.g. Vesys, Capital, Catia); Good knowledge of 2D harness drawing requirements; Good understanding of EDS requirements, specifications, sizing and verification / validation methods; Strong communication skills; Educated to degree-level in a relevant Engineering course. Desirable skills / experience: 3D writing harness design experience; Experience in production line; Vehicle Electrification experience.
