Position Title: DVP Engineer Duration: Contract Location: Hybrid - Working onsite in Coventry Technical Leadership Liaise with the wider EDS team to ensure that the designs conform to all customer and internal requirements / specifications. Support Virtual and Physical Fresh Eyes/ Inch by Inch / Customer Specific in-vehicle validations. Support the wider engineering team in creating and progressing design standards, deviations and achieving signoff, escalating when necessary. Stay up to date with engineering innovations and engage with the customer.Project management Develop the wire harness Design Verification Plan aligned to project timing using customer or Client tools. Support the wider engineering team in DFMEA / SCSS creation and maintenance. Create and maintain regular DV Reports and glide paths to report out project status. Ensure all test reports and evidences are fully uploaded into customer or Client system. Validate and update as required the project DV Plans as cascaded from customer. Schedule all Requirement Test Cases in alignment with project timing and project build events. Maintain a register of all design standards and customer deviations.Customer Focus Measure and improve on customer's (internal and external) expectations
