Compound Driver Grimsby DN31 GI Group are currently recruiting for part time drivers to work at our clients site based in Grimsby to complete Discharge driving. The hours can vary between days and nights. The Driver role will involve the movement of brand new unregistered vehicles between car compounds and parking up ready for their next movement. There is a range of Automatic, Manual and Electric vehicles on site. The role will involve discharge work which you will be trained for on your first shift. The rates for the Driver role are as follows; Monday to Friday DAYS - £10.42ph Monday to Friday NIGHTS - £11.17ph Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays - £12.50ph 1 hour paid break at £10.42ph Driver Responsibilities: ● Be aware of and observe all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental best practice standards at all times. ● Ensure that all cars you are instructed to move are done so safely, following all procedures and instructions given. ● Wear all protective clothing given to you to ensure your safety, safety of others and site policy. ● Follow the site speed limits at all times, failing to do will lead to being removed off site. Driver Required Skills: ● Enthusiastic, reliable and punctual ● Good attitude to work and learn new skills Driver Benefits: ● Free Parking on site. ● PPE - All PPE provided to you is free of charge but must be returned if you leave the agency. ● Holiday Entitlement. ● Recommend a friend reward scheme Essentials: ● Full UK driving licence (Category B), held for 1+ years. ● Must be 22+ years of age due to insurance. ● Licence to have a maximum of 3 points on licence, no more. ● The address on your licence must match your current home address.
