We are currently recruiting for a Diagnostic Technician on behalf of our client in Loughton, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Technician to join a well-established dealership and further develop their career within the automotive industry. Benefits for the successful Diagnostic Technician: Competitive basic salary of £44,207 per annum OTE of approximately £50,000 per year Generous hourly rate of £18.84, equating to a 45-hour working week Full-time hours of 45 per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break Rotating Saturday mornings on a 1 in 2 basis Stable and settled team environment with a 16-bay workshop Opportunities for overtime and career progression Join a team of 10 experienced technicians in a professional settingDuties of the Diagnostic Technician: Diagnosing and repairing passenger vehicles to the highest industry standards Utilising diagnostic equipment to identify faults efficiently Collaborating with the service team to deliver exceptional customer service Maintaining accurate repair and service records Supporting the workshop in maintaining vehicle quality and safety standards Participating in a rota for Saturday mornings as part of your working scheduleRequirements: Proven experience as a Diagnostic Technician or similar role Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge of Volkswagen and other passenger vehicles Recognised automotive qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment If this Diagnostic Technician role aligns with your skills and career aspirations, do not hesitate to find out more.
