Position: Development and Test Engineer Salary: Excellent salary + pension + healthcare + annual bonus + EV car scheme + other benefits Type: Permanent Location: Warwickshire This established engineering consultancy provides development and engineering of electric propulsion and powertrain systems for clients in multiple sectors around the world. Due to ongoing growth, they now require a Development and Test Engineer to join the team. You will provide complex development and test activities for multiple clients as well as managing your own projects. The role involves operating in a dynamic project environment including technical, commercial and customer management. As well as managing rig testing, you will contribute to their clients development activities. The successful candidate MUST have extensive experience as a Test Engineer working with EV powertrain components and systems. Main Responsibilities * Prepare test plan and specifications * Specify test rig requirements including instrumentation and fixture tooling * Plan and co-ordinate suppliers and external testing * Specify and prepare data logging equipment, instrumentation and wiring requirements * Supervise technicians with build, test and measurement procedures and supporting documentation * Calibrate instrumentation * Conduct and provide instructions for testing * Running the rigs and test execution * Generate test results, analyse data and compile test reports * Present and communicate technical and commercial information, clearly and concisely, both internally and to customers * Support FMEA reviews * Where appropriate, undertake a Project Lead role, leading a small team to deliver a successful project outcome, from both a technical and commercial perspective This is a truly exciting time to join a consultancy who have established relationships with many OEMs/tier 1 suppliers and are proud to have the best EV testing facilities in the industry.
