Mechanical Design Engineer duties include - Design simple hand-operating fixtures, through to more complex automated multifunction components and tooling. Support resolutions of manufacturing-based concerns relevant to new processes, new products, productivity, waste, quality, and safety. Work closely with both suppliers and customers from initial enquiries through to the final launch. Liaise with the testing and development teams on new company products Project Planning Design validations, FEA, prototyping - training will be provided if neededMechanical Design Engineer desirable skills and experience - Experience working within a similar role / able to use 3D design software. Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
