Design Engineer The Opportunity:  If you are a mid weight Mechanical Design Engineer with excellent skills in Solidworks  then we have the perfect role for you.  You will work on both new product design and on the development of existing lines within the automotive sector, using your Design Engineering skills to the max.  This is a mid weight role requiring 2-4 years practical experience as a Design Engineer using Solidworks within an Engineering environment. Job Responsibilities: Design of new & existing products, producing both 2D drawings/3D models for parts & assemblies Working with customer Engineering teams to design and develop fluid transfer systemsWork closely with Manufacturing and Production teams to ensure products and processes are designed for manufacture. Preferred Skills: Educated to HND level or above in Engineering discipline. Fully trained in Solidworks (and a working knowledge of CATIA would be useful). A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a Design role within an automotive component manufacturing company OEM Automotive experience advantageous8.30-5.30 M-F with a 3pm finish on a Friday
