This role is crucial in ensuring the highest quality of machined parts and components through precise deburring processes. You will be required to do the drilling and deburring of aerospace components within the machine shop using various manual techniques. Key Responsibilities: Performing deburring operations to remove sharp edges and excess material from machined parts Inspecting parts to ensure they meet aerospace industry standards and specifications Experienced in measuring equipment Vernier, micrometer plug gauges, screw plug gauges Experienced in drill deburr Possessing a mechanical background Collaborating with machinists and quality control teams to ensure all parts are thoroughly deburred Documenting completed work and quality checks accurately Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times Contributing to a clean and organised work environment Job Requirements: Experience deburring Strong attention to detail and precision Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Strong communication and teamwork skillsCore Shift Times Monday to Thursday - 7am/7.30am until 3.45pm/4.15pm Fridays 7am/7.30am until 11am/11.30am Rates: MT4/Q4 First 12 weeks: Basic £16.83 Overtime £25.25 Sundays £33.67 MT4/Q4 After 12 weeks: Basic £17.34 Overtime £26.02 Sundays £34.69 Roles offered on a PAYE basis only.
