Data Privacy & Security Manager 14-month contract Hybrid working - Gaydon £38 per hour (Inside IR35), 40 hours per week *Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.* About the company I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Gaydon, who are seeking a Data Privacy & Security Manager to join their team Job Description As Data Privacy & Security Manager, your main responsibilities are: Act as an SME, within the Data Advisory team, within Product Engineering Review & risk assess complex Product Engineering projects, that handle personal data, in line with the EU and UK Data Protection Legislation Advise Engineering colleagues on Privacy requirements Identifying & articulating high risk processing complex data flows, the role of third parties' handling data, international data transfers, industry specific guidelines, data minimisation techniques & data subject rights adherence Qualifications / Skills needed Proven experience, working as a dedicated Privacy professional Previous experience advising on technical/ technology based processes The ability to communicate complex legal arguments, to Engineering colleagues CIPP/E qualification, Law degree, Engineering/ IT degree or Qualified lawyer Telecommunications industry (beneficial) Why work through Contechs?
