We are currently seeking a Senior Damper Build Engineer for a contract role based in Gaydon, Warwickshire, working on a double day-shift pattern within the automotive, motorsport, OEM, or specialist engineering sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team focused on bespoke and prototype damper systems across a variety of advanced technologies. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: * Build and assemble prototype and bespoke dampers to precise specifications. * Support engineering teams with testing, inspection, and data analysis. * Operate damper rating and measurement equipment. * Recommend process improvements and preventive actions. * Work independently and mentor junior team members. ✅ Requirements: * Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience in damper build engineering. * Background in automotive OEM, motorsport, or specialist suppliers. * Strong IT skills and experience with measurement/testing equipment. * Comfortable working on a double day-shift pattern. * Willing to complete a mechanical trial/skills test. 🎓 Desirable: * Engineering degree or formal technical training.
