Job Title: Continuous Improvement Engineer                                     Location: Reading   Salary: Competitive  Contract Type: Contract   My client is a leading engineering and manufacturing business located in the Reading area the business is looking to hire a Continuous Improvement Engineer to help implement new manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities – Continuous Improvement Engineer           Develop processes to implement lean principles, team collaboration, and reduction of process variations. Ensure stability within Teams, Divisions &/or Groups, while inspiring and challenging others to continuously improve. Coach problem-solving, remove barriers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and facilitate effective meetings. Lead or support lean workshops, project teams, and process variation reduction efforts. Provide process improvement support across all divisions and operating units within emphasizing the need for urgent implementation. Foster an environment where employees are encouraged, motivated, and open to change. Plan, execute, and follow up on projects, tasks, and events, switching between facilitative leadership and driving as needed. Perform various duties, transitioning between tasks without losing focus, and effectively solving problems. Communicate company policies, procedures, vision, goals, and safety regulations, encouraging ownership of strategic planning initiatives. Participate in formal training, facilitate team meetings, and provide mentoring opportunities. Continuously expand knowledge of lean tools and techniques. Qualifications & Requirements – Continuous Improvement Engineer      Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing Company. Able to work with minimum supervision.
