On behalf of our client, a specialist composite manufacturing organisation. We are actively recruiting a number of Composite Technicians to join their team in Cambridgeshire on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities & Requirements: * Building composite and aluminium panels * Removal of aluminium core * Removal of honeycomb composite core * Competent in ambient & elevated curing of fillers, sealants & adhesives * Competent in the correct preparation of adhesives, sealants & fillers ensuring all criteria & specifications are met and adhered to * Competent in the potting of inserts * Competent in drilling, reaming, de-burring of metallic panels * Competent in countersinking on metallic surfaces * Usage of MRP system * Reading of engineering drawings and specifications Experience & Skills: * Experience within Aerospace preferred, other transferable industries will be considered. * Good organisational and time management skills. * Good verbal & written communication * Setting and implementing high standards of housekeeping in your department The Contract: * 6 months with extensions highly likely * 40-50 hrs per week * £18-£18.61/hr PAYE * Weekly pay * Early finish Friday’s * Possibility of temporary to permanent for the right candidates
