CNC Turner - Setter/Operator Salary: Highly competitive Location: Northampton Job Type: Permanent What does the role involve? EMBS Engineering is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering business that specialises in the manufacture of small to medium sized, complex, safety-critical components for a number of market-leading OEM's within high profile markets. Located in Northampton, due to increased orders, our client is looking to recruit skilled CNC Turners to join their business on a permanent basis.  Responsibilities include: Run proven programs, adjust work and/or tool co-ordinates and correct any errors Set tools and produce a ‘First Off’ part to correct quality standard Carry out 1st off inspection from engineering drawings and update paperwork Ensure the cell output is made to the agreed schedules Ensure the quality of the machine output is to required specification Apply machine maintenance as per schedules What experience do you need? Proven CNC Turning experience Strong capabilities in setting and operating multi-axis (3 & 4) CNC Turning using Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls Previous background of machining small to medium sized precision components for high profile industries including; Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Medical or any other advanced manufacturing sectors Comfortable performing multiple set ups per day Confidence in performing self inspection of parts using manual measuring equipment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Worked with small to medium batch sizes   What do you get?
